Every plan — including the free Basic tier — gives you full access to all six API endpoints: WHOIS lookup, DNS records, SSL certificate validation, domain availability, subdomain discovery, and domain monitoring. The difference between plans lies in the monthly request quota, rate limit, number of monitored domains, and response format options.

Yes. You can upgrade your plan at any time and the change takes effect immediately — you'll receive the higher quota and rate limit right away. Downgrades take effect at the start of your next billing cycle. Manage your subscription from the account dashboard.

When you reach your monthly request quota, subsequent API calls will return an HTTP 429 (Too Many Requests) error until your quota resets at the beginning of your next billing cycle. You can upgrade your plan at any time to increase your limit without waiting.

We accept all major credit and debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express) via Stripe, as well as PayPal. All transactions are processed securely and encrypted. You can pay in either USD or EUR — select your preferred currency during checkout.

We don't offer a traditional free trial, but our free Basic plan gives you 1,000 API requests per month with no time limit and no credit card required. This lets you fully evaluate the API in production before committing to a paid plan.

Currently, all plans are billed monthly. We don't offer annual billing at this time, but we're considering it for the future. Monthly billing gives you maximum flexibility to upgrade, downgrade, or cancel at any time.

Subscription payments are generally non-refundable. However, we may issue refunds in cases of verified prolonged service outages or billing errors. You can cancel at any time — your plan remains active until the end of the current billing period. Full details are available in our Terms of Service.

Absolutely. All plans, including the free Basic plan, allow commercial use. You can integrate WhoisJSON data into your SaaS products, internal tools, client dashboards, or any business application. Just make sure your usage complies with our Terms of Service and applicable data-protection regulations.
